COMPANY POLICY

 

The reason we have established Ygeia Medical Center is to protect the Ship Owners from crew illness claims prior to them joining their respective ships. We carry very strict pre-employment examinations and tests

In order to identify if seafarer suffering from medical conditions we carry out strict pre-employment examination and testing

 

The company policy on quality provides the basis and guiding direction on how the Quality Management  System was designed and installed. It is through this policy the QMS has been maintained.

 

CENTER QUALITY POLICY STATEMENT

 

We at YGEIA MEDICAL CENTER, INC. .assure the provision of medical and health care services for companies and out-patients.

 

We shall provide testing services to companies as basis for sound employment screening and at the same time support companies through occupational medical services to assure the well being of their employees.

 

It is our policy that YMCI shall effectively implement and continuously improve the quality of Management System, provide competent and qualified personnel and ensure the proper maintenance of our equipment and facilities to ascertain effective business process and satisfaction of our customer.

 

To further improve and maintain quality, YGEIA MEDICAL CENTER, INC. adopted the standard requirement of ISO 9001:2000 and other statutory and regulatory requirements of DOH, POEA, MARINA and aims to continuously improve its effectiveness.

 

MANAGEMENT RESPONSIBILITY

 

The management has responsibility to ensure that only medically fit applicants shall be certified in accordance with the requirements set by the legal and regulatory agencies, as it confirms its commitment to QMS based on the precept of ISO 9001:2000.
